Organs of Body

The father of my children and a brother-in-law both had to be hospitalized this month with torn retinas. I think this interesting because of the eye symptoms I've been experiencing. I sense this has to do with pressure and heat in the organ system.

Organ Definition: A relatively independent part of the body that carries out one or more special functions. The organs of the human body include the eye, ear, heart, lungs, and liver.

(I would change the word "independent" to "interdependent" as the body's parts are part of a larger whole system -- why is this ignored/unknown?)
