Addiction and Light

And why is the entertainment industry feeding addiction? And why do audiences play along? Is it because they are intoxicated and numb? I question the standards of this industry.

As I watch the music and dance award shows I notice that each one is increasingly risqué in its nudity and sexual gyrations. Is this not an indicator of a civilization in decline? I am not a prude…I am a hot blooded female. However, I am also spiritual and intelligent. I am more than red and orange energetic vibrations of lowest chakras. I am also yellow, green, blues and violet. And I am white light. A comparison is a flute that has only two openings for air. What a limited sound it makes.

It’s time to question the standards of all industries and systems. It’s time to demand quality that is well-rounded and nourishing. It is interesting that Dancing with the Stars winner was the older woman who was genuine, natural and wholesome. And I do see and hear positive interractions in these shows. My concern, however, is the effect this red and orange is having on our young people who are watching as well as the collective psyche.

I begin to wonder who/what is pulling our strings and keeping us from evolving to the next level? I think about the astral plane and wonder what that realm has to gain by keeping us in limited expression? The balance of light and dark forces is playing out at all levels, in all dimensions.

As earthlings evolve into wholeness we lift and resurrect all dimensions. Why? How? Because, as enlightened/conscious matter in denser matter, we hold a lineage as Light Beings. We stand in and for that which is highest and question that which is not. We are not silent. We are not numb. We are alive and rippling good news throughout the cosmos.

Be not fooled by Darkness. Focus on Light. Shine Light. Light I Am.

Earth Relating

Listening to "soundscapes" music the other morning and being still I noticed that a piece of land started to speak to me. I was tracing its boundaries from memory and was surprised by its impression. Do I have a "love affair" with this land in Eastern Washington? Yesterday I saw that a permaculture class will be taught there next summer. Coincidence?

Crossing Paths

Spent time with a couple of men this week who are spiritually oriented. One is very psychic and a conduit for astral beings. He has written volumes inspired from this realm.

The other man introduced me to the Keys of Enoch and Kiesha Crowther Little Grandmother, one of the 12 young Shaman wisdom keepers to establish the "Tribe of many colors" recently was on a European Tour spreading her message on how to start living from the heart. She also speaks about our ancestors, the pole shift, where the extraterrestrials are hiding and what we can do to change our world and heal Mother Earth.

Interesting that I've crossed paths with these men. I'm listening to their information/inspiration.

I find myself challenged at times to connect linear dots and stay focused in this realm. Seems to be a thinning going on...thinning between realms. I am light headed a lot...and light footed I notice as well. It's a good sensation...I only get tangled up in cross wires when I have to relate with information in this realm!

Evolutionary Leaders group deflated. My intention was to include Native people which I did. The group was looking for different leadership. I resigned. I prefer to do few things as I need still space in my life...Transition is my focus for now.

Celebrating Breakthrough

I had a breakthrough in communication and I'm celebrating the fact. I have had trouble addressing conflict and have gone around it with people rather than being straight forward and to the point. I simply refused to get stressed about the current situation and spoke directly: "Do we need to clear the air regarding...." and "we have different views so will you block..."

Negativity can be dealt with directly and thus dissipated. Doing so is an art!

I'm meeting so many new people these days with so many different ways of looking at the world and responding/reacting to it. So many people...so many teachers!

Relationship

The Regional Food Policy Council meeting gives me a monthly opportunity to be a voice for Transition Culture. This week I heard people talk about including indigenous people in an event. An ha-ha moment! Indigenous people need to be sitting in this circle! So, I am calling Native friends to see who can represent our natural landscape and its wild edible foods on this council. How forgotten our native people are. I love looking into the dark black eyes of native people and I love their dark black hair. Differences are meant to be noticed via appreciation of connection and not fear and hate.

I’m discovering that it’s natural for me to network with people I see/hear/touch and what a drain it is on me to do the social network thing with people I don’t see/hear/touch. Matter holds charge/energy/light. Matter grounds charge/energy/light. I need to work in grounded ways. Some relationships and networks provide this, others do not. I listen to my body to discern what enlivens me and what drains me. So, how is it that I can work with beings in DreamTime and be energized? It must be that in other dimensions I am seeing/hearing/touching them and they me. There is an energy exchange…a light exchange that feeds the whole system.

I have a friend who is starting to meet men via the internet dating systems. She already has 80+ hits and 50+ winks. She’s thrilled! I’ve been there, done that many years ago. I prefer another system that creates lines of attraction and brings people together naturally. This week I am meetings with two men so that we can 1) talk about Transition and spirituality and 2) talk about Aquarian metaphysics and writing/poetry. I am meeting these men as a whole woman. I am not looking for fire. I am fire and know that relationships built on fire are not sustainable. I am looking for well-rounded (water, air, earth, fire) friendships that share vision, intention, action and purpose. This is not too much to ask. This is what is transpiring.

Hawk Talk

At my circle garden a little after sunset. I look up and a large bird is flying low and north directly above me. I watch him pass and another flies by. I hear a screech and then a continuum of screeches. I have never heard two hawks talk to one another. Quite magical and why I love my garden.

Threads

DreamTime threads: when I saw the royal golden Serpent in the green garden I was not alone as I shared the information with someone with me as soon as I saw it. And...the white cab in the lucid dream was not a taxi cab in look or size but more like the aerodynamic eco cars now being designed. Yes, it was like a small space ship. I still feel delighted about that!

My energy is so different these days. I can't focus on a lot of things and have to scale back reaching out as well as reading informative articles. I seem to want to focus on TW and local relationships. All of which ground me. I am letting go of more relationships and activities. My life is very simple...quiet.

Today cleaning house I was communing with my house trees and the Norefolk Pine informed me that it wants holiday decor and lights on its branches. Sooner than later!! I guess the tree wants to celebrate. I can do that. I love the green life that I live with and that lives with me. It brings up emotion today as I am melancholy....what exactly is that? I know what it isn't: upbeat and outgoing.

Dream Time

See a shimmering golden serpent rising up from the ground in a vibrant green habitat. Very Royal. S/he is facing East and has a section of body just above the ground that is pulsating. When I awoke I got that this was its heart. Also as I was waking up I saw a blue serpent in the same upright position facing East. Vibrant images communicating increased life force -- voltage moving through conduits/wires/systems. The intense charge requires pacing oneself in this realm as the wheel turns and humans evolve.

Another dream thread earlier this week: As I woke up I was getting out of a white "cab." This seeing tickled me.

That lucind dream with white space and blue circular patterns had words that were black. The word "hate" was in black. Colors are important and this blog is how I journal. I am starting to journal the images separately as they cannot be communicated with this technology.

City Council Talk 11.9.2010

I represent Transition Woodinville locally and Transition Towns globally. Our focus is to build resilient communities in this time of critical change.

As you, Woodinville City Council, move forward in a business as usual reality supporting growth and development Transition Woodinville moves forward in a different reality supporting sustainability and doing more with less. How can we bridge the two?

Transition Towns are aware of
• peak oil advocating for energy descent plans
• climate change advocating for localization and self-reliance
• food scarcity advocating for local farms and gardens
• economic instability advocating for new systems of exchange

Transition Towns orient around Gross National Happiness that was initiated by the King of Bhutan. At Hollywood Hills Association this weekend I introduced TW and learned that Lincoln Potter, whom some of you know, worked for the Bhutan government and knows well the platform of GNH. GNH measures the well-being of its citizens through housing, education, food supply, health care and community life. The other reality is the Gross National Product that measures consumption. One reality circulates positive energy; the other circulates material goods. How can we bridge the two?

The evolving concept of GNH could well be the most significant advancement in economic theory over the last 150 years, according to Frank Dixon, a Harvard Business School graduate who is currently managing director of research at Innovest Strategic Value Advisors. Innovest is the largest international financial services firm catering to ethical investment funds.

"GNH is an endeavor to greatly enhance the sophistication of human systems by emulating the infinitely greater sophistication of nature," says Frank Dixon.

Just what would it mean for economic structures to emulate nature? Dixon and others explain it as follows. At present individual companies and entire countries are compelled to keep growing indefinitely. The only parallel for this in the natural world is cancer cells, which by growing exponentially destroy the host body and themselves.

Today it is widely acknowledged that the human economy cannot keep growing at the cost of its habitat. Yet even after two decades of expanding environmental regulation we are still losing the race to save the planet. This is partly because production systems and consumption patterns are out of sync with the carrying capacity of the planet.

I welcome the opportunity to work with the City of Woodinville to put us on the GNH map as one of the happiest cities in the nation.

Gross National Happiness

Coronation Address of
His Majesty King Khesar, The 5th Druk Gyalpo of Bhutan
7th November, 2008

It is with immense joy that we are gathered together on this most auspicious day. In these last 100 years the dreams and aspirations of our forefathers and the vision of our Kings have been fulfilled beyond all expectations. The wise and selfless leadership of our kings, the sacrifice and hard work of generations of Bhutanese and the special bond between the People and King have given us this unique and special nation – a jewel of the earth.

Two years ago, at a time of profound change I came onto the Throne as a young King. You, my people, in the spirit of generations past, worked with me with complete faith and gave me your wholehearted cooperation and goodwill. Thus, in these two short years while we have taken gigantic steps towards strengthening our nation, we have done so in a calm, deliberate manner in complete harmony. It is with great pride that we stand as new democracy, having successfully completed an unprecedented and historic transition.

Yet we must always remember that as our country, in these changing times finds immense new challenges and opportunities, whatever work we do, whatever goals we have – and no matter how these may change in this changing world – ultimately without peace, security and happiness we have nothing. That is the essence of the philosophy of Gross National Happiness. Our most important goal is the peace and happiness of our people and the security and sovereignty of the nation.

Our generation of Bhutanese have been gifted a strong, dynamic nation by our forefathers. I am confident that as long as we are willing to work with their commitment and dedication and follow their example we can bring greater peace, happiness and prosperity to our country.

I am confident because I know the worth and character of our people. You are the true jewel of this nation. As citizens of a spiritual land you treasure the qualities of a good human being – honesty, kindness, charity, integrity, unity, respect for our culture and traditions, love for our country and for God. Throughout our history our parents have upheld these values and placed the common good above the self.

My deepest concern is that as the world changes we may lose these fundamental values on which rest our character as a nation and people. It is critical that we are able to recognize Bhutanese character irrespective of how far we look back into the past or into the future. The Bhutan we see is vastly different - unrecognizable even - when compared to the Bhutan in the time of our first King. Yet, the character of our people and the nature of our fundamental values have remained unchanged. Henceforth, as even more dramatic changes transform the world and our nation, as long as we continue to pursue the simple and timeless goal of being good human beings, and as long as we strive to build a nation that stands for everything that is good, we can ensure that our future generations for hundreds of years will live in happiness and peace.

It is not because I am King that I ask these of you. Destiny has put me here. It is with immense gratitude and humility that at this young age, I assume the sacred duty to serve a special people and country. Throughout my reign I will never rule you as a King. I will protect you as a parent, care for you as a brother and serve you as a son. I shall give you everything and keep nothing; I shall live such a life as a good human being that you may find it worthy to serve as an example for your children; I have no personal goals other than to fulfill your hopes and aspirations. I shall always serve you, day and night, in the spirit of kindness, justice and equality.

As the king of a Buddhist nation, my duty is not only to ensure your happiness today but to create the fertile ground from which you may gain the fruits of spiritual pursuit and attain good Karma.

This is how I shall serve you as King.

I cannot end without addressing our most important citizens - our youth. The future of our nation depends on the worth, capabilities and motivation of today’s youth. Therefore, I will not rest until I have given you the inspiration, knowledge and skills so that you not only fulfill your own aspirations but be of immense worth to the nation. This is my sacred duty. A strong motivated young Bhutan guarantees a strong bright future.

The future is neither unseen nor unknown. It is what we make of it. What work we do with our two hands today will shape the future of our nation. Our children’s tomorrow has to be created by us today.

I end with a prayer for Bhutan - that the sun of peace and happiness may forever shine on our people. I also pray that while I am but King of a small Himalayan nation, I may in my time be able to do much to promote the greater wellbeing and happiness of all people in this world – of all sentient beings.

Lucid Space/Time

My life would be much easier if I was more logical and could remember details. Wednesday night I made coffee that I had purchased at Dragon Lair in Hawaii to take to a meeting. At midnight I was wired and could not sleep. At 1:00 AM I realized why I had no grounding center and was buzzing. The coffee is not decaf! I decided to eat something at 2:00 AM and by 4:00 I finally slept. Ugh! Someone used to tell me that I could remember details if I just tried. I told him that it was the same as me telling him that he could have visions if he just tried. The point being that we are all wired differently. My “differently” is why I tend to be timid about certain things because I never fit into that linear square.

Driving to Tacoma last Thursday I felt an over arcing sense of peace and contentment. This stayed with me all day. Is this inside out or outside in or an intersection of both? How could my brain/body be so content after a sleepless night?

Saturday I stood on sacred ground with indigenous people at the foot of a great pyramid here in the Pacific NW. It is one of several pyramids that are lined up on this West coast. A few of us Evolutionary Leaders visited Rob and Liz Satiacum with the Puyallup Tribe. I was treated with such respect from both of them. I felt honored which is quite a gift from another human being. They both gave me space to pray and to my surprise I was ready, even hungry for this expression. Rob had talked about the throat being a drum that moves water molecules that we are. My drum was ready and eager to make sacred sound. I realize it’s the same drum that I love to sound at City Council meetings. It’s a whole brain/body song.

Sunday as I was standing in my circle garden I got that this circle connects with sacred circles all around the planet and beyond. I’m getting that a circle is a portal that communicates and keeps us safe. It’s time to create more circles in our personal lives and in our communities. Labyrinths and medicine wheels are ancient medicine that connects us locally, globally, cosmically. These gateways of the cosmic grid need points of conscious connection.

I was in deep thought early this morning before rising. I noticed that my field of vision was shifting and I shifted with it observing a white lucid field and as I focused I saw circular patterns and letters in blue. I focused in more on the letters and words and saw “hate.” I later asked myself what is “hate?” I got that hate is a violation of another person’s personal space. It’s actually self-hate being projected outward. I checked in again regarding my “hate” toward others. There are lines I draw with people and places because I don’t feel safe. There are people and places I stay away from. Is this hate? I see it as self-love and healthy boundaries. What was this experience telling me?

Later this morning a woman called. She is a shaman and someone I see occasionally. She was upset about something I had done without informing her. I was surprised but as she spoke I put myself in her shoes and understood. I think it was this woman’s emotion that was behind the “hate” that I picked up. The experience reminds me of a similar situation I had with a different woman shaman. In that shamanic space we were engaged in a cat fight until I chose to leave the scene. Both incidents involved a man. How brainwashed we are to live and breathe as if our happiness depends on a man! How much pain we suffer because of this illusion.

What is my lesson in all this new lucid space? I see it as an opportunity to see more, know more, heal more, love more. We are one body of water, air, earth and fire. I welcome these healing elemental threads that intensify in our lives in our consciousness. Our purpose is to work with them by weaving golden light of love in the wounded dark spaces. It’s a personal and collective opportunity in this Aquarian Age of enlightenment.

I Thought I Heard a Sound

This song is replaying in my brain/body this morning. I'd like to dedicate it to Transition Towns all around Earth Mother. Underground songline rising up from grassroots. Can't find lyrics online so here's what I remember:

I thought I heard a sound
I thought I heard a sound
I thought I heard a sound
of magic everywhere

I wonder what it was
I wonder what it was

And if you listen very carefully
You can hear the sound of people singing
All across the land songs that have been banned
Forbidden bells are ringing
Talking very low telling what they know
About a time when all the creatures shared the earth

I thought I heard a sound

To Woodinville Neighbors

Hello from Transition Woodinville! I have a "light bulb" idea to share with you after attending the City Council meeting last night. For those of you who are new to this email list I have initiated Transtion Woodinville which is a global movement based on permaculture principles. (www.transitoinus.ning.com, www.transitionseattle.ning.com)) A group of us are beginning a six-week discussion course using The Transition Handbook by Rob Hopkins. Rob and this movement is upbeat, solutions based, inclusive, intelligent and very creative. If there is enough interest I am willing to hold a second orientation and discussion group. The more leaders of this local initiative the more synergetic which for me means productive and fun!

Let’s create “the other” City Hall where members do not have deep pockets that control planning and development and where members agree that less is more rounding out our individual quality of life and our collective planetary system.

Let’s
· create a Transition Woodinville City Hall with a Mayor, Deputy Mayor and a council of members

· invite the citizens of Woodinville to make public comment addressing ways to build a resilient city and developing citizens that are self-reliant

· meet once a month (at the Grange?) and build a network. This will not be “politics as usual” but rather politics Transition style that is inclusive with natural whole systems in the forefront of our consciousness and proceedings

· plan, help coordinate and promote projects and events organized by Woodinville citizens/groups/organizations

· establish Gross National Happiness (GNH) as our compass. GNH measures wellbeing rather than consumption. By contrast the conventional concept of Gross National Product (GNP) measures only the sum total of material production and exchange. Basic happiness can be measured since it pertains to the quality of nutrition, housing, education, health care and community life.

The following is what I planned to say at the City Council meeting last night. After a false start I chose not to because of the choices that were being made regarding design standards for the downtown corridor. I begin to feel that I am speaking to people who cannot see Transition vision nor hear its holistic language. We need an alternative “governing” body that is visionary, creative and robust (enlightened and fun-loving -- happy)!

The evolving concept of Gross National Happiness could well be the most significant advancement in economic theory over the last 150 years, according to Frank Dixon, a Harvard Business School graduate who is currently managing director of research at Innovest Strategic Value Advisors. Innovest is the largest international financial services firm catering to ethical investment funds.

"GNH is an endeavor to greatly enhance the sophistication of human systems by emulating the infinitely greater sophistication of nature," says Dixon.

Today it is widely acknowledged that the human economy cannot keep growing at the cost of its habitat. Dream Time

Woke up this morning with a golden disc above my head/North. In Ancient Aliens Gate of the Gods in Peru has a door with golden disc and the story was that there was some device used to open that gate in stone.

Lucid Dream: Ascending in flying dream to get from point A to point B. I feel elation. A "songline" whispers, "What would happen if you fell." Then a strong gust of wind comes in pushing me out of the black U that I am sitting on. The U seat goes to the right, I fall and land (I am not injured due to the warning beforehand)and a third piece falls to my left. I run after the U seat but it is too far away and is behind a vehicle that I cannot catch up with.

I see a device like a TV remote. It has a wound black cord (repeat dream symbol). I am trying to call my daughter and have two phones one in the left pocket and one in the right. I keep trying one and then the other. I dial incorrectly again and again which causes me to look closely at the devices. One is more compact with writing on it. The other is similar to my cell phone but newer. All three devices gradient sizes.

Not sure if these symbols are giving me information about this dimension or another. Interesting that "songline" experience happens in both dimensions. It's like an underground current that might be called a hunch or intuition or psychic cue. Perhaps it's associated with geomancy.

Time Travel

Leaving my place with wheel barrow in hands yesterday thinking about the time it takes me to get to the garden. If my brain/body was more intelligent/enlightened I could create a vortex spin vibrationally and teleport myself to the garden. Can that include my tools and wheel barrow?

Saw a small brown green frog hopping in the grass and heard the croaking as I left the garden. Is it spring on Halloween? Roses continue to grow and song birds sing. Climate change is real.
